Having begun her career on the front lines, she has maintained a career-long passion for staying connected to the day-to-day challenges faced by apartment professionals at every level, and for connecting them with the resources they need to succeed! Her other guiding passion—and special talent—is for recognizing trends, and framing them within the context of our industry to not only identify their implications to our future, but to spotlight ways that we can immediately begin capitalizing on them today.
Lauretta speaks from a rare level and breadth of real-world experience in all the facets of property management with over 26 years of managing multifamily portfolios from America to Nigeria. She is the CEO of Walden Properties Ltd., a real estate brokerage and development firm.
She earned Bachelors’ Degree, Marketing from Cleveland State University, Ohio. She was a Licensed Realtor, Texas. While in the real estate field, she developed specific interest in managing properties and went further on to earn the designation of Accredited Residential Manager [ARM]; later, Certified Property Manager [CPM] at the Institute of Real Estate Management, USA.
